Brothers and Sisters, and our friends:

In an effort to inform our membership and the friends of our membership, starting in 2010 Local 1547 lists the names of members of our Local who have died.  Each person listed was a member of this Local.  Some joined our Local as apprentices, some travelled to our jurisdiction and deposited their ticket, and some became members as a result of their employment.  We are saddened by their passing and hope that the information we provide here will give you an opportunity to say a few words in memory of these individuals who all helped in one way or another to making IBEW 1547 the Union that it is today.  Join us in honoring their memory.

If you know a member of our Union that has recently passed, we want to acknowledge their death with a floral arrangement for the Service or a charitable contribution made on behalf of that Member as directed by the Family or loved ones.  Please contact the Local Unit office to report the death of a loved one or friend that was a Member so we may better facilitate this service. Have the following information when you call as it will make the process more efficient: Member Name, Date of Passing, Surviving Beneficiary (if known), and an address and phone number where the flowers or donation should be sent. If the flowers are for a service, the date, time and the location of the event are helpful.
